Why Tap A Cell Phone? Reason #3 (Employee Monitoring)
The third most popular reason why someone would want to tap a cell phone is to monitor their employee cell phone use to enforce quality control.
There are a lot of companies (big and small), who provide company issued cell phones in order to communicate with customers. As mobile phones become more powerful, they are increasingly used as the primary communication device for employees to interact with their customers. Tap A Cell Phone | How To Find Out If Your Cell Is Tapped?
Can you really tap a cell phone? Is it possible that someone has tapped your cell phone? What signs or clues will appear if someone has tapped your cell?
If you are concerned that someone might have installed cell phone tapping software on your phone, here are a few signs that could confirm your suspicions.
1) Listen for clicks. When someone has tapped your cell, they will need to be brought into your conversation, and when this happens, you will usually hear a slight "click" that will last for a split second. You may have heard this occur on your phone, but have not paid much attention to it. However, I would recommend that if you do hear any sort of clicking sound, that you stop the call and switch to a different phone, then take the necessary steps to wipe out any tapping cell software. When people ask me someone can tap a cell phone and what are the signs, this is always the first thing I bring up.
2) Listen for an echo. Similar to the clicking sounds, some tapping cell software will create an echo when you are talking to another person. This doesn't happen all the time, but it does happen and is a clear indication that you might have monitoring software on your phone. To tap a cell phone, the software required will create an echo on a large variety of phones, but remember that this doesn't happen all the time, but when it does happen it will at least be yet another sign.
3) Battery life.
